Pudong New Area Construction Waste Resource Utilization Test Base is located at the former site of Shanghai Oriental Farm, Xiaohuajiang Road and Cao Road, Pudong New Area. The base is mainly used to standardize the disposal and rational utilization of municipal solid waste such as decorative waste. The base will develop technical specifications and standards for the treatment and utilization of solid waste, such as garbage, so that the research results can be effectively implemented and promoted. The research projects of the test base include four projects: decoration waste treatment, domestic waste incineration slag treatment, construction waste treatment, and subgrade material processing production line with the above-mentioned treatment materials as the main raw materials.
At present, the construction work of the four separate projects in the plan has been completed, and all strip operations have been realized. Among them, the decorative garbage project is the key project of the test base. The works were completed in November 2016. This is a decorative waste treatment production line mainly based on gravity sorting. On December 10, the material debugging began, which basically met the expected requirements. From August 25, 2017, it will enter the implementation phase of 300 tons/day. As of October 9, 2017, the test site has received 10,550 tons of residential decoration waste. After disposal, it produced 2,483 tons of powders and granules, 3,000 tons of aggregates, 457 tons of miscellaneous bricks, 110 tons of combustibles, as well as sundries.
