Zhejiang customer visits Dingbo Heavy Industry to inspect Raymond mill equipment

On August 7, 2025, Shanghai Dingbo Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. welcomed a delegation of customers from Ningbo, Zhejiang to visit the Raymond mill equipment at its production base in Nantong, Jiangsu.
During the inspection, technicians from Dingbo Heavy Industry provided customers with a detailed introduction to the core technological advantages of the Raymond mill. This equipment adopts a three-dimensional structure design, with a small footprint and strong completeness, and can independently complete the entire production process from block to finished powder. The core components such as the grinding roller and grinding ring are made of high wear-resistant alloy materials, which increase the service life by more than 50% compared to traditional equipment. The centrifugal rolling design of the grinding roller and grinding ring ensures that the wear does not affect the fineness and output of the finished product.

The raymond grinding mill has a wide range of applications and can process non flammable and explosive materials with a Mohs hardness of ≤ 7 and humidity of ≤ 6%, including more than 300 types of mineral and chemical raw materials such as limestone, calcite, kaolin, and phosphate ore. The particle size of the finished product can be freely adjusted within the range of 80-325 mesh, with a screening rate of up to 99%, meeting the strict requirements for powder fineness in high-end building materials, coatings, ceramics and other industries.

To visually demonstrate the performance of the equipment, Dingbo Heavy Industry arranged an on-site production demonstration. Taking limestone processing as an example, after being pretreated by a crusher, the raw materials are sent to the Raymond mill host by a hoist. The grinding rollers and rings crush the materials under centrifugal force, and the fine powder enters the analysis machine for sorting with the blower airflow. The qualified powder is collected by a cyclone collector, and the coarse particles are returned for regrinding. The entire process operates in a negative pressure environment with extremely low dust spillage. When combined with a pulse dust collector, it can achieve an emission concentration of ≤ 10mg/m ³, fully complying with international environmental standards.
The customer representative was impressed by the automation control of the equipment. The electrical system adopts a centralized control design, and operators can monitor the operating status in real time through a touch screen, adjust parameters such as feeding speed and air volume, and achieve "one click start stop" and unmanned operation. The technicians emphasized that the replacement cycle for vulnerable parts of Raymond mill is over 500 hours, and the bearings inside the roller sleeve support quick disassembly, reducing maintenance costs by 40% compared to ball mills
